Acetone Toner Transfer

Acetone transfer works *much* better the fresher the copy. Some printers
ink will work, but alas, not all. You have to try and see. Fresh ink,
fresh copies.

HTH,

Vicki

True! And I always crank the contrast on the copier up as far as possible
while still maintaining a 'white' background. Crank it too far up and you
get a gray background.

Also, I have found that acetone from the paint department works better than
nail polish remover that has acetone in it.

YMMV,

Vicki

Nah, not the only one. I tried the acetone transfer
method and really didn't have good results. My best
results come with the good ole graphite transfer- I
use a graphite art pencil rather than a regular one
for darker lines. So far so good, although one must
be careful not to smudge the image. I'm thinking of
trying the vinegar method- is there smudging with
that?
